Vin Diesel just recently teased “Fast & Furious” fans with a poster of the latest franchise. Diesel took to Facebook to share the poster that is reportedly unofficial and noticeably, Paul Walker was not on it. The poster read “New Roads Ahead”.
The tagline hints on a new chapter of the installment, given that this is the first film without one of its main characters played by Paul Walker. According to Hollywood Life, the title of the film is always keeping along with the theme of the previous film. The sixth installment’s tagline was “All roads lead to this,” while the seven movie says “One last ride.” The poster showed Vin Diesel’s character, Dominic Toretto, looking at a vast expanse while standing next to a car.
Walker was only in some parts of “Fast & Furious 7” because he was killed in a car accident during the production break of the film in November 2013. Vin Diesel was very close to Walker. In fact, when he won at the “People’s Choice Awards” in January he took the opportunity to honor Walker saying, “You all thought that this was your favorite films. So I think of Dom (Diesel’s character) and Brian (Walker’s character), and I start to think of Paul.”
According to E! News, Vin Diesel recently revealed to fans that there would be an entire trilogy of the franchise. In fact, Universal Pictures has already set the dates for “Fast & Furious 9″ and “Fast & Furious 10” on April 19, 2019 and April 2, 2021, respectively.
Recently the production cast Charlize Theron to play as a Villian and Scott Eastwood who will be playing as a new character under Kurt Russel. Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyres Gibson and Eva Mendez will reprise their roles for “Fast & Furious 8.” The film opens in theaters on April 14, 2017.
