Former WWE star turned actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has foul-mouthed Fast 8 male co-stars on Instagram. He referred them as chickensh** and candy a**.
A report by People stated that Dwayne Johnson’s fury was targeted at Vin Diesel. The latter has been a part of the Fast and Furious franchise since the beginning. They met on the set in Atlanta to blot out their differences, which may have originated from the decisions Diesel made as a producer of the franchise. He was a producer since the film’s fourth sequel.
From The Rock’s post on Instagram, he also stated that this was the last week of shooting for Fast 8, which is queued for a 2017 release. Tyrese Gibson, who has been a part of the franchisee since its inception, came into Johnson’s defence by posting on Instagram and said that they have never had a beef while they were still shooting for the movie and that he is nothing short of a brother to him.
Gibson’s post that has been deleted included a video of Johnson singing to Gibson’s 9-year-old daughter. It supposedly had a caption where he stated that Johnson is one of the most humble and professional people he has ever worked with. He also added that he is doing this for his old co-star, the late Paul Walker, and his Boston Furious family.
Gibson also stated that he was not aware of this spat and remained silent about the matter. It was allegedly stated that even if he had any clue about it, he would not say anything to anyone.
In Dwayne Johnson’s original Instagram post, he lauds his amazing female co-stars Michelle Rodriguez, Charlize Theron, Natalie Emanuel, Elsa Pataky and Helen Mirren. Apart from Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese Gibson, Fast 8 also stars Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Lucas Black, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges and Scott Eastwood.
