Fast and Furious franchise has always seen their cast and crew as “family.” However, the harmony of the Fast 8 family may have been disrupted with feud among male stars. It turns out that mainstay Vin Diesel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had some issues.
Everything started when The Rock posted a message on social media. The former pro-wrestler called out some of his male stars. It turned out to be his co-star Vin Diesel. There were also reports saying that the feud had been brewing for months.
But the end of the feud had been quite fitting. The Rock put an end to the issue; of course, through social media.
Although there have been reports that Diesel and Johnson already settled their bad blood, the latter decided to end it, finally. According to Wet Paint, the 44-year old actor started it with an Instagram post. The caption mentioned a family having a conflict and that it is a good thing. He said families get better from it. He also said him and his Fast 8 co-stars believe in one thing: “delivering an incredible movie to the world.”
Apart from the Instagram post, the Fast and Furious Facebook page also posted a message. It was a lengthy one, seeing as it was their final #FastFriday post. On it was a heartfelt and emotional message to the millions of fans of the show. It also thanked the stars of the show, right from the first movie to the 8th. Of course, the people who worked behind the camera were also mentioned. And who could forget Paul Walker, an inspiration to all? Reports have said they would honor their lost family in the 8th installment of the franchise.

At the very end of the message, the post assured fans they would be back this December. It would be for the first trailer of Fast 8.
Nonetheless, the most important part of the post might have been the signature. It was signed “From your Fast Family.” Indeed, the team who brought fans cool cars and epic action has definitely become a family.
Fast 8 will start gearing up this coming April 14, 2017.
