Vin Diesel has nothing bad to say about his co-star, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. After filming the eighth installment to the Fast & Furious franchise, the 49-year-old actor celebrated by by answering questions from fans on Facebook Live.

Last week, rumors sparked that there is trouble brewing on the set of Fast 8 after The Rock complained about a male co-star on Instagram. After praising the female leads of the movie, the 44-year-old posted about an unprofessional, “chicken s***,” “candy a****” co-star whose actions sent his blood boiling while filming the follow up to Furious 7.

“When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling,” the former wrestler wrote. “[Y]ou’re right.”

According to sources, the apple of The Rock’s anger is his co-star, Vin Diesel. Diesel has a negative reputation for showing up late, holding up production and being generally difficult to work with. The Fast & Furious lead actor has remained quiet amidst the allegations. But recently, he broke his silence to talk to his fans on Facebook.

Last weekend, the 49-year-old praised Johnson in a video posted on the social media site. He recalled that the role of Hobbs was initially written for Men in Black actor, Tommy Lee Jones. However, it was the fans of the racing franchise who were responsible for The Rock’s casting.

“The reason we brought Dwayne Johnson into Fast Five was because of you,” Diesel said. “There was a girl named Jan Kelly who said, ‘I would love to see you work together on screen.’ So the role that was originally written for Tommy Lee Jones, we gave it to Dwayne and he shined in it.”

Diesel did not address the rumored feud with Johnson on the Facebook Live Q&A. But he singled out Dame Helen Mirren in order to praise the actress. “She’s such a wonderful, wonderful talent. It was such a blessing,” he exclaimed about the Academy Award winner.

Fast 8 opens on Apr. 14, 2017.
