Actor Paul Walker’s sudden demise in 2013 was a major blow to the entire world but it is cast and crew of the “Fast and Furious” franchise that misses the actor the most.
The stars of the thriller series are back together to film “Fast and Furious 8” and could not help but reminisce the moments spent with Paul Walker. This was proven recently when Vin Diesel shared touching tribute to Paul Walker.
“Many of the crew members who have worked on several of the past Fast films are here again to help us make something special. One of them at the end of the week came up to me and said wow what we are capturing on film is excellent… And then looked at me and said Paul would be proud. #wemakethemwithourhearts,” Diesel posted on Instagram.
The post was accompanied by an old photo of Diesel with Walker as the two beamed with bright smiles.
Apparently, Diesel still can’t get over the fact that Walker will not be a part of the franchise anymore. He even posted a heartfelt message about the stunning actor a few weeks back as well. However, the makers have roped in Scott Eastwood to fill the void created by Paul Walker’s death, but nothing really can replace Paul Walker.
Eastwood too remembered his friend Paul and opened up about his rapport with him in a previous interview.
“Paul was a close friend of mine…He was an older brother to me. For me to be able to add to the F&F story, Paul’s story, and the FAST family is like a dream come true,” E! News reported.
According to reports, “Fast 8” is slated for an Apr. 14, 2017 release. Interestingly, “Fast 9” and “Fast 10” too are scheduled for Apr. 19, 2019, and Apr. 2, 2021 release respectively, the website reported.
